Terms of Service

1. What HandItOver does

HandItOver is an AI-assisted job-search service. It finds job postings, matches them to your profile, tailors your résumé, and — when you ask it to — fills out and submits job applications on your behalf, including via automated (“Autopilot”) mode. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your profile and résumé.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information, keep your password secure, and be at least 18. You’re responsible for activity under your account. You may delete your account at any time from Settings.

3. Applying on your behalf

When you enable one-click apply or Autopilot, you authorize HandItOver to submit applications to employers using your profile, résumé, and the answers you’ve provided. We only submit information you’ve given us; we do not fabricate qualifications. You remain the applicant and are responsible for the content of your applications. Employers, not HandItOver, make hiring decisions.

4. Email access

If you connect a mailbox, you authorize HandItOver to read recent messages solely to retrieve verification codes and account-setup links needed to complete applications. Credentials are encrypted at rest. You can disconnect at any time.

5. Plans, credits & billing

Paid plans include a monthly allotment of applications (“credits”). Top-up packs add credits that don’t expire. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled; you can cancel anytime and keep access through the current period. Payments are processed by Stripe. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable; unused credits are not cashable. A credit is consumed only when an application is actually submitted (failed submissions are refunded).

6. Acceptable use

Don’t use HandItOver to submit false information, spam employers, violate a site’s terms, or break the law. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.

7. Third-party services

We rely on third parties including job-data providers, Stripe (payments), an email provider, and Anthropic (AI). Their handling of data is governed by their own terms.

8. No guarantee of outcomes

HandItOver does not guarantee interviews, offers, or employment. The service is provided “as is” without warranties to the extent permitted by law, and our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.
